Job Description
The Plant Manager will lead the overall operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The role is responsible for production planning, machine utilization, quality control, maintenance, and timely dispatch. The candidate will implement SOPs, improve shop-floor processes, and lead production teams to achieve operational excellence while coordinating with design, stores, and procurement departments.
Requirements
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or
Diploma in Engineering with extensive relevant experience and proven shop-floor
leadership).
7-10+ years of experience in manufacturing/light engineering, including 5+ years in a Plant Manager/Production Head role.
Strong knowledge of CNC machines, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and production planning.
Experience with SOPs, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, ISO standards, and team management.
Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
